As the Fall Equinox invites balance between day and night, we step into ceremony to mirror that shift within.
Held over two weekends in September, Moon & Medicine is a day retreat series centered around Kambo, intention, and seasonal renewal. Aligned with the turning of the season and the rhythm of the moon, this series is designed to help you clear what’s heavy, reconnect to your inner rhythm, and soften into what’s true.
Each day is its own complete experience. Come for a single day, or stay nearby and immerse in all three to move through a fuller arc of release, restoration, and remembrance.
The desert doesn’t rush your return— it holds you in stillness, while the medicine clears what no longer belongs.
These day retreats are for:
Locals wanting a powerful reset without leaving town
Weekend travelers looking to create their own sacred experience in the desert
Anyone craving a grounded, heart-centered space for nervous system repair, emotional release, or spiritual reconnection
What’s Included Each Day:
Opening intention-setting exercise
1 Kambo Ceremony
Rest + Reset Time (including pool access!)
A nourishing autumn lunch
Share circle + integration support
Optional add-ons: Sananga, Hapé
Nearby lodging recommendations upon request
This is a non-overnight offering designed to be immersive yet accessible— perfect for those who want to stay local or create their own DIY retreat experience.
Why three days?
Sitting three days in a row allows the medicine to work in layers. Each ceremony builds on the last—gently deepening your process.
This rhythm is inspired by the traditional practices of Indigenous tribes such as the Katukina, Matsés, Huni Kuin, and Yawanawá who have long worked with Kambo in multi-day sequences for purification, strength, and spiritual connection.
If you feel called to go deeper, we’re happy to recommend nearby accommodations so you can turn this into your own personalized weekend retreat.
Facilitated by:
Lette Allen – IAKP-Certified Kambo Practitioner, Retreat Leader + Creator of Kambo Kreativa
Air Eve – IAKP-Certified Kambo Practitioner, 500 E-RYT Yoga Instructor + Visionary behind Inner Journey Freedom
Together we offer grounded, heart-led space for what’s real and ready to rise.

“I created Moon & Medicine in response to something I was feeling in my own body—a need for slow ceremony, honest space, and seasonal rhythm. Not to escape, but to clear what had quietly built up. This isn’t about fixing or forcing. It’s about meeting yourself in the in-between—that soft, liminal space where things are shifting, even if you don’t have the words yet. The desert, the medicine, the moment—they all have a way of revealing what’s ready to be seen, felt, and finally released.”

Absolutely. This is a beautiful space for both first-timers and returning sitters. You'll receive preparation guidance beforehand and we'll walk you through every step of the process. You don’t need to come with a clear intention or spiritual background—just a willingness to meet yourself where you are.

This is a day retreat. We’ve expanded our traditional Kambo format to offer more space, more support, and more ceremony.
Each day includes a guided intention-setting workshop, added nervous system regulation practices, with more dedicated integration time, including access to a pool for rest and reset. We also close with a share circle, which allows space for reflection, witnessing, and deeper connection— elements we’ve found essential in our own healing journeys often reserved for full weekend retreats.
You’ll also have the option to add on:
✨ A full Sananga ceremony before Kambo (gathering at 9 AM)
🌬️ A Hapé ceremony after our closing share circle
Both are available for just $33 each and can be added on the day of the retreat. -
Each day is a complete experience. We're happy to talk through the differences and help you feel into what’s best for you.
We offer special rates for multi-day bookings, and if you're not local, we can recommend nearby places to stay so you can turn it into your own weekend retreat.

An extra blanket or personal altar item (optional)

Yes. You’ll need to fast for 8–12 hours prior to each Kambo ceremony. We’ll cover exact fasting guidelines during your consultation, days leading up to the retreat, and again each day of the retreat.
-
A 1:1 consultation is required to ensure Kambo is a safe fit for you. We’ll go over your health history, current medications, emotional readiness, and answer any questions you may have. Once you’ve completed the consultation and are cleared, you’ll receive full retreat prep info.
-
We work closely with each participant through a thorough intake process to ensure Kambo is safe for your body and aligned with where you are. If you’re managing an autoimmune condition, gut imbalances, chronic stress, or nervous system dysregulation, this could be a supportive space. That said, we’ll review any contraindications together before confirming your spot.
-
Start by filling out the contact form on the Contact Page of our website. We’ll reach out to schedule a free consultation call. This is a chance for you to connect with us, ask questions, and feel into whether this space is right for you.
After that, you’ll fill out a short intake form. Once you're cleared through our safety screening process, you'll be invited to submit a non-refundable deposit of $111 to reserve your spot.
